I would love to be able to make contact with some extended members, (or anyone knowing of them,) of the Adams- McCoomb) families of St. Peter Port, Guernsey,Channel Islands; & Staunton (Stanton)families. My grandmother,Minnie Vere, born Nov,17, 1883, St.Peter Port. emigrated to New Zealand at an early age with her sister Amy, born 1885, who married, Edward, Arthur Rogers, they emigrated to Sydney Australia). Minnie's parents were, (my grt/.grandparents), Nicholas Adams & Mary Ann (McComb;McCoomb)B;1859;Dover, England; died-1951'.St,Peter Port. Nicolas mother, Ann LeGeyt. Mary Ann later married Thomas Staunton (Stanton). Mary Ann's mother was Jane Elizabeth Ruse, c1841, Cornwall, England. Robert McCoomb emigrated to Australia with wife Jane and children, later Robert emigrated to New Zealand, Jane and some of her children I believe went back to Guernsey, Channel Islands.
