My 5th G-GF was Thomas Hancock Sr. of Halifax Co. VA. born about 1737, d. 1803, his wife Jane, their sons, Barnett, Anderson Harrison 1757-1807, Lewis, Stephen, John and dau. Peggy. There may be more siblings. Anderson Harrison m. Jerusha Brumfield in 1791, Halifax Co.VA, their sons William and Anderson 'Andy' went to KY, found in KY census 1830,40,50. Andy married Margaret Taylor, had at least one son Andrew J. Hancock a Civil War Union soldier, married Rebecca Jane Walker in Adair Co. KY 1844. They had 8 dau's and 2 sons. I have names,dates,marriages for this family. Andrew and Rebecca are my GG_GP's. Andy is my missing link. Cannot find his birth,marriage or death dates.
