JOHN C. HAMILTON of DELAWARE/MARYLAND father of CHARLES HAMILTON OF SILVER SPRINGS, MD and NORRIS F. HAMILTON OF OXFORD, MD. I have limited information about all three men. However here is what I know of them: JOHN C. HAMILTON was born in 1840s in Delaware. Parents/siblings unknown. JOHN C. HAMILTON left Delaware for Federalsburg, MD where he married Susanna M. Page of East New Market, MD on September 25, 1857 by a Reverand James Kenny. JOHN C. HAMILTON/Susanna M. Page removed to East New Market, MD to live/raise three sons: WILLIAM ANDREW HAMILTON, Charles W. Hamilton and Norris F. Hamilton. I descend from WILLIAM ANDREW. JOHN C. HAMILTON died in Oxford, MD in 1920 and was buried within Oxford Cemetery. Wife, Susanna M. Page followed in 1929. She is buried beside husband JOHN. Also, in this interment zone are Jane Page, S. Carlton Yearsley Sr., S. Carlton Yearsley Jr. and Caroline Phillips. How these people fit in is not known. Charles W. Hamilton left East New Market for Silver Springs, MD where he met and married a Blanche S. Whether they had issue is no known. I believe that Charles F. Hamilton died between 1940-1950 and is buried in this Silver Springs, MD area. Norris F. Hamilton, left East New Market for Oxford, MD. Whether he married, when and to whom is not known. Norris F. Hamilton died of an asthma attack during his stay in Philadelphia with a cousin, Dallas Hamilton, in 1940. He was returned for burial next to parents, JOHN C.HAMILTON/Susanna M. Page, within Oxford Cemetery, MD. I would like to find living descendants of Charles W. Hamilton/Blanche S. and Norris F. Hamilton/Yearsley or Phillips. These descendants would be my father's cousins. To date, I have not been able to locate any living HAMILTON descendants. I know they are out there! PLEASE CONTACT ME if you are related!
