I looking for information on the parents of William Tinsley Tanner, born in Greenville SC. Nov. 16 1824, it was said that is father name was William Mckensie, or William Kensie Tanner from VA. William Tinsley was married to a Rebecca Anderson in Union co. Ga by the Justice of the peace Jackson Anderson, the year 1846, they moved to Cherokee Nc where Rebecca died in 1856, Rebecca had a child born the same year of Her death, a Josephine Tanner born June 25th 1856 I have know other information on Josephine, I would appreciate any information on these names, thanks Darrell Tanner | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
