WIRTH,Phelps County,Missouri,1870-1900 Seeking information about Joseph and Electa WIRTH of Cold Spring Township, Phelps County, Missouri from 1870 to 1900. They were born into the Catholic Faith in Bohemia and immigrated to the USA in 1868. The 1880 Federal Census lists the following information about them and their children: Joseph Wirth (45), Electa (38), Anna (16), Frances (15), Emma (8), Gustave (6), Mary (3), Rudolph (infant). A son, William, followed later. Anna married Joseph KLAUS. It is unclear what happened to the other children....Gustave and William appear to have remained bachelors to the 1930 census. Mary may have married Edward SANDS, but this is unsubstantiated at this time. Rudolph may have remained a bachelor and lived with them. Any help regarding this query would be greatly appreciated.
