Researching father's family - know very little since he died when I was very young. Traced family to Plesant Bledsoe b. abt. 1808 (not sure where) married Elizabeth Craig b. abt. 1810, probably TN. Family listed in 1840 Campbell County, TN Census. Need help finding out who were parents of Pleasant. Also, his son John (my ancestor) Bledsoe b. abt. 1837, TN married Mary Hill(b.abt. 1865 in ?KY) Anderson County, TN October 06, 1886. Believe Hill to be surname from previous marriage. Trying to find out her first husband's given name and Mary's maiden name. There were two children with Hill surname listed in Bledsoe house in Union COunty, TN census. Asberry Hill and Sarah Hill. Bledsoe children were: Reuben Bledsoe b. 1889 TN (my ancestor), Alfred B. Bledsoe, b. September 1891, Mossie J. BLedsoe Born April 1894 and Dona E. BLedsoe Born June 1897.
