I am researching a Melvina Cannedy, born 2/7/1875 in Cedar County; married 1889 to S.R. Webster. Melvina died in Clinton, Henry County on March 30, 1939 after residing 6 years in the county home. I have no information on her parents or family. Melvina and S.R. had 11 children born between 1893 and 1914, 3 of whom died very young. The family also lived in Webster county. Melvina could not read or write. Her death certificate has no information on it. There have been many variations to the spelling of Melvina's last name, such as: Cannada, Canada, Kennedy. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
