Thomas Patrick RILEY was my grandfather, b.14 Oct 1873 in California d. 09 May 1953 in Fort Smith,Sebastian County, Arkansas. His ancestors are unknown. He married Mary Josephine CRAUGHEN (b. 31 May 1881 Ottawa, Kansas d. 25 Jan 1951 Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. 26 Feb 1906 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. My father's name was William Edward RILEY, b. 12 May 1916 d. 24 Oct 1967 both in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. He married my mother,Mildred Viola SILMON,(b, 22 Aug 1918 Grubbs, Jackson County, Arkansas and d. 07 Jun 1988 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas) m. 30 Apr 1938. One of his brothers was George Matthew RILEY b. 04 Sep 1911 d. 03 Jun 1968. They had 5 additional siblings, Margaret "Pete"(Riley) Homan, Susan (Riley) Strode Kelly, Thomas Jr, "Bud" and Paul.
