I am looking for information on Etta Calkins born about 1878. Her father was Felix W. Calkins, a Civil War hero. There is a gravestone statue of Felix in Watseka IL. Etta is my grandmother's (Myrtie Sprague/Muche) mother. Etta was married several times (Perrigo, Bevins, Sprague, Hall) and was a chiropractor. I have very little info on Etta since my grandmother was raised by Etta's sister, Eolane (Myrtie). I have a formal picture of Etta posing by herself. Not sure why the picture was taken. Our family also has some hand-painted dishes with Etta's signature. I believe she lived in the South Haven, Michigan area for part of her life. I am interested in info about her life and where and when she died. It is believed she died around 1932. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
