 Surname: BENNETT and BALLENTINE families Area: McRae Timeframe: 1870-1900 Submitter: Mary Ann Davis Comments: Looking for Jessee M. BENNETT and Frances Elizabeth BALLENTINE (possibly later shortened to BALL). They were born in Mississippi and migrated to Arkansas by 1870s, where their children were born. Children's names were Emma, Alice, Laura (b.1874), Hugh, and possibly Maude. Distinctive traits about this family: Emma was blind (acquired, not congenital), Emma and Alice never married, and Hugh and Laura were under 5' tall.
