Query Text: |
Does anyone know the fate of Xenophon Dickerson? Born in Ohio in 1828, one of 11 children of Joseph Dickerson and Sally Dailey. Orphaned in 1839 in Iowa. Still living in Iowa in 1841 and then missing in action. I can provide details on the lives of 7 of the 11 children. Xenophon was the youngest and had the oddest name. Siblings lived in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Texas and Oregon after 1841. Other missing brothers are Whitten, Peter and Silas. Only sister married James Welch. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
