on my father's behalf i would like to trace who might be the only surviving relative from his father's side of the family,who lived in the Chicago area for many years nancy jean wertheimer was last heard of from a news paper clipping in 1964 ,announcing her impending wedding to a M. Perlman on the 5th jan of that year, possibly in the Highland Park area of Chicago. Nancy's mother was Jean Wertheimer (maiden name Davidson) and at one time she lived at 457(f) Laurel Avenue,Highland Park , Ill. Jean was ,i think born in dundee Scotland from where she and her parents left to make their home in the U.S.A. when she was a child. Her father George gilbert Davidson ,born 1st April 1892 in Scotland was the older brother of Andrew Davidson ,my father's father. George married his wife Flora/Florie Philpot in Dundee scotland. Any help in tracing Nancy Jean would be greatly appreciated and my father (in his 70s)would be happy to hear of the family | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
