 I am researching my husband's family but so far I have not gone back further than the ALDERSONS in Australia. Our gg grandfather was James Alderson who married Ann Gamble in Sydney in 1829.I have found records from there on down but nothing before this. Our g grandfather was James Colston/Colster/Coulston Alderson which is a pretty unusual name and could give a clue to his line! Please can anyone help? Regards.....Rose Alderson
