Looking for info on George Herman Smith, part Cherokee Indian born 1913 Shawnee, Oklahoma. Parents were George Smith (from Tenn) and Edna Molder. George Herman Smith went to Alaska in 1950 and died there. He had one brother named Buford Smith who married a woman named Viola.They lived in Meeker or Shawnee, Oklahoma. I am trying to locate any info on this family,I'm trying to document George Herman's Cherokee ancestry. Need to determine his Grandparents names and where in Tennessee they were from.
