would like information on one: George Washington Noyes. Born:12/4/1822,in Putney, Vermont, Died:1870 in New Haven, Ct...Wife's name: Helen Campbell, believe they had a son:Arthur(not sure. He had a famous brother: John Humphrey Noyes, of the Oneida Community, Perfectionists Society., Oneida,NY. Want info on George-why he left the Oneida Community in Oneida,NY, & went to New Haven, Conn.,what he did there,did his wife Helen Campbell Noyes die there, etc.(i found out he was a printer there,or near there in New Haven),and what he died of there. Found out quite recently he's a relative to my step-grandmother.Want to help her find this family roots.,she is very ill, and was unaware of this family connection.,her family was the Tuttle family,(Louisa Tuttle),who was one of the original members to go with John & George Noyes to Oneida, NY, to form the Oneida Community.
