Query Text: |
I am inquiring about the family of William Radcliff, Esq. of Beersbridge (near Belfast)County Down Ireland. He owned the Beersbridge Flour Mill in the 1820s and 30s near Belfast. The family became bankrupt. William died just one month before they were to immigrate to the USA. He died in March of 1847. Some of the members of the family that immigrated were daughters Agnes and Harriett who died in May and July of 1847, Harriett, his wife and William, his eldest son who arrived in Cincinnati, Ohio via Quebec Canada and lived there for several years. William married Marianna Robinson Hughes of Trois Riveres Lower Canada. I am searching for a possible brother by the name of Smyth Radcliff or any other Radcliffs of this family. A daughter of this family Mary, born in 1820 in Belfast was married to William Searight and immigrated to the USA. Please contact for more information. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
