His wife Maria Brownell Steele born 15 Apr. 1844 in Albany, N.Y. Died on 21 Aug.1883. In tornado in Rochester, Mn. Where buried? Their daughter Charlotte Irma Steele born 7 Nov.1849 in Albany, N.Y. Married John Becker Borst Jr. He died in Mn. and she moved with son Linn Wil Borst to Portland, Or. She was on 1930 census there and they can't find her death certificate.
