I'm looking for information on the Garrett family. I am hearing conflicting reports of their origin being from Germany and others say Scottland or Ireland. The only relation I have found is my great great grandmother who went by Ella Garrett. She married a John James Doster. Her full name is as follows: Mary Frances Nancy Elizabeth Ella Cornelia Garrett. What was her mother's name? and her father Mr. Garrett's first name? They had a very large family. One of their sons John Odus (Otis) Doster married Annie Francis Snellings. John Odus and Annie has a large family as well.
