looking for information on john Restell & marie josephe Bergeron they had 7 children brn in New Carlisle Bonaventure Quebec 1.margaret brn 1795 2.mary brn 1797 3.jane brn 1800 4.john brn aug,3,1802 married elizabeth Murray of Scotland on july,27,1827 in Berseford N.B. Northumberland county.. 5.martha brn 1805 6.james brn 1808 married agnes ann(nancy)Holland 7.peter brn 1812 married rachel Howland possabaly 3 of these women married men with surname Poor or Power or Powers..possably one of these wome married a jean Bellier or john Blair.. I always thought the surname was Russell and not Restell but have found it spelled Derosell,Rossel,Rousselle, marie josephe or josephte Bergeron was brn june,25,1777 Miramichi N.B. baptized abt 1783 Bonaventure Quebec she married john Russell also spelled john Restell ,their daughter margueite is down as marie-margurite Restell baptized 4,march,or 22,may 1795,married jean Bellier july,4,1824 in Bonaventure Quebec their daughter marie is down as marie Rossel brn 21,april,1797 baptized 4,june,1797 Bonaventure Quebec.. their son john brn aug,3,1802 my gg grandfather and his wife elizabeth Murray their 13 children were brn in Belledune N.B. some of the baptismns have it spelled Rousselle... my g grandfather robert Russell brn may,20,1856 Belledune N.B. had 2 children brn in u.s.a. with a women named emma Curo robert Russell jr brn july,4,1885 Duluth MN and mary elizabeth (bessy)Russell brn 1887 u.s.a. my g grandfather robert Russell brought his 2 todlers back to his hometown of Belledune N.B. and his older sister elizabeth Russell raised them..what happen to emma Curo were her and robert ever married? my g grandfather robert Russell married martha miriam (miriam)Matthews of Belledune N.B. in 1896 in 1904 oct,13 robert Russell died my g grandmother martha miriam Russell)Matthews in 1906 married john Russell son of samuel Russell and theresa Godin....
