My family is in search for answers as to who my biological grandfather was and for the rest of my family tree. His name was Joseph Kulchar (may be different spelling in other country)and immigrated to canada from Hungary around 1925-1930. We don't know about his birthdate or anything else. We recently found out that he was married. Any help with this would be appreciated. We believe he may have fled from a war of some sort and changed his name when he got here. We know that "a Joseph Kulcsar" immigrated to Canada March 30, 1929 on Alaunia, Cunard ship that ported at Halifax, Nova Scotia (age 28) Need to find passenger list online or bording info from Hungary.
