ADAMS GENEALOGY: We are looking for our ADAMS ancestors. My husband’s Great Grandfather was George Middleton ADAMS born 4 Dec 1821 in Alabama. (His father was William ADAMS and his mother was Pricilla Williams TRUITT). He married Matilda C. TREWETT (or Truitt) born ca March 1831 in Tenn. They had the following children: Thomas, Rizpah Emaline, John W., Hilliary A., James H., and George Harrison and Tennessee (Bettie). Their son, George Harrison ADAMS was born 12 July 1867 in Mississippi. He married Siona Belle (Sidney) BANKS born 4 Sep 1878 in Cameron, La Fleur, Co., OK. (Her father was Alexander BANKS born ca 1836 in Walker, Co., Alabama. Her mother was Susana born ca 1841 in South Carolina.) They lived in Midland, Arkansas around 1906 and then moved to Marlow, Oklahoma. Their children were Jerry James, Ethel, Everett, Alvin George, Carl, Catherine and Marvin. Their son, Jerry James ADAMS was born 24 Feb 1906 in Midland, OK. He married Mary Jane GREGORY, born 7 Feb 1918 in OK. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
