Query Text: |
On the back of the photograph of a pleasant middle-aged couple if written "Cousin George and Cousin Rachel.' We found out who they were in the 1881 Census, because my husband's aunt, then five years old, was staying with them! GEORGE and RACHEL MOTT, living in Worcester. Also in the household, Rachel's mother, SOPHIA SIMPKINS. We found a marriage reference and Rachel's name had been NOYES.... Rachel and Sophia were born in Devizes in Wiltshire, as was JANE BISHOP, who married JOHN ROLAND TROTT and became AGNES BISOP TROTT's mother. Agnes' siblings were MAUD WOODMAN TROTT (SARAH WOODMAN was JANE BISHOP's mother's maiden name) and JOHN ROWLAND TROTT, my husband's father. Any connections with these names would be appreciated. Go well! Ivy Trott in South Africa. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
