I am looking for information on Barney (Mormon moorman, moreman)born abt 1832 and Elzira born abt 1849 in South Carolina. Elzira may have been native american, and it is possible she was Barney's second wife. By 1880 they had moved to Mississippi around what is now known as tate county and worked on the Deshazo farm. Listed on the 1880 cencus with them were Mary, Squire 15), Thomas(6.)The children we know are Susie, Tom, Amy, Dollie-Ann, Quella, Della, Mary and Sam.
