My father-in-law Elias Roger Theriac was born in Woonsocket in 1930. His father was Elias Joseph Theriac. In the 1920 census E.J. has a brother - Euclide/Uclide Teriace/Theriac, after this I can find no trace of him. Any information greatly appreciated. Also their mother was Josephine Lafay (brothers Emile & Claude lived in the Woonsocket area too - they moved from Conneticut/Mass. area.) In 1930 she is listed as wife of Wilfred Beffre yet her death record states she was never married. I am hoping for any information on E.J.'s father - the death certificate states father was E.J. Theriac Snr but no trace of him either. I know in the 1950's there were still Lafay's living in the area. Any information might help me in my search as I have little to go on.
