My paternal great grandfather, John Edgerton [May 25, 1834 USA near Quebec border-May 1, 1908 Durham County, Ontario] was married twice - the second time was to a Mary F. Gibson [Aug 23, 1847 Nestleton, Cartwright Twp, Durham Cty, Ontario-Sep 5, 1932 Blackstock, Ontario]. They were married Nov 14, 1876 [Cartwright Twp]. Her sibblings (all born/died Cartwright Twp area, Ontario unless otherwise noted): Ann Jane [Mar 13, 1841-1841]; Henry [Apr 6, 1849-Aug 13, 1927 Sunnidale Twp, ON, m. Esther (Essie) Ney] Sarah Jane [Oct 28, 1850-Apr 9, 1919, m James Neal; Robert [Jun 10, 1852-Mar 6, 1938 Didsbury, Alberta, m. Margaret S. Ferguson]; Thomas [Jun 10, 1854-Feb 7, 1877]; Arthur [Sep 27, 1856-Jun 11, 1917, m Elizabeth Bruce]. Mary Gibson was first married to a William James Hyland. Her father was Henry Gibson [1811 Ireland-Jul 31, 1895, who was married Apr 8, 1838 Cavan, Ontario, to Maria McQuade (1815 Cavan, Ireland-Oct 1, 1895)] who had a brother Robert, Jr. [about 1815 Ireland-??, m. Keziah ---]. Henry's father was Robert Gibson, Senior [about 1779 Ireland-1863, m About 1803 in Enniskillen, Ireland, Mary --- (About 1781 Ireland - Jun 22, 1878 Cadmus, Ontario -- she was first married to Samuel Archer, Senior, the grandfather of my grandfather Sam Archer)].
