I am trying to find information on an officer of the Leicestershire Regiment Captain L. W. St. John McNair, later Major McNair. Captain McNair was the transport officer of the regiment in Malaya, 1941-42. He escaped the Japanese Invasion and thereafter served in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) until 1944/45.
