James Hall born August 5, 1883 in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England. His father, Henry Hall was a metal moulder. He lived in Hanley, Burslem, Cobridge area. He married Maria Williams on April 28, 1907 at Christ Church, Cobridge. The witnesses were John Hodkiss and Patty Hall. He was with the 1st North Staffordshire Regiment for 4 years before coming to Canada. Around 1911, 1912 he came to Canada and joined the Canadian Army Medical Corps and was stationed at The Ontario Military Hospital in Orpington, Kent in 1916, 1917. He died there on October 14, 1918 and was buried in Hanley Cemetary in Plot 20955. He may have had brothers named William and Thomas (Tom) both who later moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am at an impasse and would love to obtain further info. He had cousins named Cyril and Elsie. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
