John Walter CROMEENES married my GG-Aunt Louise "Lula" Frances [SEBER] 23 Jan 1894 in Clay Co. John was born 01 Feb 1874 in Ky? Ill? and died 31 Oct 1935 in Los Angeles Co, Calif but was buried at Mt Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City. The informant on his death certificate was his daughter Mrs Etta [Cromeenes] SCHLUTER of SLC. GG-Aunt Lula was shown as his surviving wife. Also, according to his death certificate, they moved to Calif in 1922. GG-Aunt Lula was born 12 Jan 1873 in Manchester, Clay Co, Ky and is said to have died in 1950 but I don't know where. The only other record I have found of John & GG-Aunt Lula is this census: 1920 Salt Lake Co Ut/ED 89/SLC/HH 54-57/pg 206b: CROMEENES, John W/HH/wm age 46 Ky/Ky/Ky Cromeenes, Lulu F/wife/wf age 47 Ky/Tn/Ky I do not know where they were living in 1900/1910. I have found a little information on their daughter Etta but do not know if they had other children. Per AFN-B86L-76, Etta was born 08 Mar 1897 and married Raymond Neal SCHLUTER 06 Mar 1917 in Tx (I have not found their marriage record but I question their being married in Tx - why would Raymond be in Texas since he was born and raised in Utah? Was he possibly in the military?). Per the SSDI, Etta was born: 08 Mar 1897 Died: May 1977 - died in May 1977 Bountiful, Davis Co, Utah. Cemetery records show she is buried with her husband at the Mt Olivet Cemetery in SLC. Per AFN-1BT8-LH, Raymond was born 06 Mar 1896 in Utah and was the son of William Henry SCHLUTER & Josephine Asenath [NEAL]. Per the records at the Mt Olivet Cemetery in SLC, Raymond was born 06 Mar 1896 died 06 May 1965. I have not been able to find him in the SSDI. Not having their obituaries or the 1930 census, the only child I have found of Raymond & Etta is their daughter Frances: 1920 Salt Lake Co Ut/ED 89/SLC/HH 51-53/pg 206a: Schluter, Raymond N/HH/wm age 23 Ut/US/US Schluter, Etta C/wife/wf age 22 Tx/Ill/Ky Schluter, Frances E/dtr/wf age 2yrs+1mo Ut/Ut/Tx Any and all information or helpful suggestions will be deeply appreciated!
