Kentucky Wood(s) pile Brickwalls: Brothers -- Thomas Wood born 1818 in KY & William Henderson WOOD born 1819 in TN or KY. Who are their ancestors, parents and siblings? I have found them both with spouses and children in the 1840 census for Calloway County, KY; 1860 census for Medoc, Jasper Twp., Jasper Co, MO. They both owned land in Pope and Johnson Counties, Illinois during late 1840s and early 1850s. Several of their children were born in KY, either Calloway County or Marshall County. Thomas Wood married Frances Nichols in Calloway County, KY July 17, 1838. William Henderson Wood married Rachel Wallis in KY about 1837, possibly Calloway County or Graves County. Thomas Wood died after 1860 census and before 1870 census. Frances Nichols wood died August 18, 1889 in Texas County, Missouri.
