The Doughty ancestors I am researching lived in East Feleciana Parish, LA. My grandfather was Homer Cecil Doughty, who after 30 years on the police force in Natchez, MS died in Feb.1933, his father was Alexander Scott Doughty, and his father was Levi D. and his father was Reuben Doughty,who married Mary Reece in Amite county, MS in March of 1813. Both were dead by 1826 orphaning 4 children, one of whom was my GGgrand- father, Levi D. Most of the above information is undocumented and I would like to tie all four together. I have a good bit of documentation on my Grandfather, Homer Cecil, but not the kind that ties him to the other three. Can anybody help, please.
