His ancestors go back to GA. Her mother was Mary (probably Mary Magdaline) UNKNOWN, b. TX (probably Harris Co) in 1861. She was the daughter of immigrants from Germany. They would have entered through Galveston, a major port in the mid-19th c. Mary's parents may have had the given names of Cornelius and Mary Magdaline.
