Looking for Frances Anderson a set of parents She is my G-G-G-Grandmother born about 1780/90 we think in Halifax County, Virginia. She married Edward Dowdy and moved to Iredell County, North Carolina. She had two sons !. William Anderson Dowdy born 1806 2. James Anderson Dowdy born 1808 She died and her estate papers filed in 1843 by her eldest son. There was a family of Anderson in Halifax Co., Va. with daughter Frances, but she is listed as being married to a Fergerson.
