Edward CRANE and Elizabeth (DIAL) lived near Greensburg, OH in 1864 when my Grandmother Carrie Belle CRANE was born. They also had a son William Porter CRANE (he later went to spelling his name CRAIN) born about 1855. 2 daughters died while young. The 1870 US census, Liverpool, Columbiana,OH. Post office, Wellsville, did not include Edward. In 1875 Elizabeth and children went to Greenfield TWP, Rooks Co, KS and filed on a homestead.
