Researching JACOBSEN family from Nøtterøy, Norway to Liverpool, England. Thor Bredal Jacobsen was born 1866, the son of Elias Jacobsen and Johanne Andrea Thorsen. He came to Liverpool, Lancashire as a mariner and married Margaret FOSTER from Seaforth near Bootle, Liverpool at St Pauls, North Shore, Kirkdale 23 April 1890. Children: Mary Agenta, Margaret, Bertha Elizabeth, Thomas Edward, Herbert, Robert Elias. Margaret died in childbirth in 1907. Thor Bredal Jacobsen lived on to 84 yrs old but never remarried.
