I'm looking for an 18th-19th century branch of the Child family in New York, especially Saratoga County. I know one Salmon Child was a Town Magistrate in July 1806 for the County, and I'm looking for how William and Asa Child, who ran a press in the area in 1807 (in Johnstown, NY), were related to him. I know they were pretty close relations, but I'd like to know exactly.
