Wilkes County, Georgia. Between Washington and Tignall. My name is Joseph R Willis. My father was Joe Henry Willis. My mother is Mamie Wilkinson. I am searching for more information on the family line of Joseph W. Wilkinson (W). He had a son named Samuel (My Grandfather) by a woman named Elizebeth. (Not his wife) I am trying to find Elizebeth's maiden name. She was 30 years old in 1880. Samuel married Wilmat Huling. (My Grandmother) Her parents were Hal (Sonny) Huling and Margaret Anderson. Margaret was the daughter of Archibald (Son of Ephraim and Frances)and Judith Anderson. My paternal grandfather was Willie Willis from the Danburg Area. He married Annie Chenault, daughter of Askew (Asquire) and Ida Chenault. I have no further information on him. I am also trying to find Ida's Maiden name. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
