Seeking info about a William thompson who married a Winnie Louisa Owen in 1875 or 1876. William was born about 1857. Louisa Had a daughter prior to william. Their first child together was a Albert Walter Thompson. William was in the 1880 NC federal census of Surry Co.(bryan Township), But he was not their in 1870 when he would have been 23. Maybe from Burke co. or there abouts
