Hoffman shown in 1880, W VA census, Berkeley Co, Martinsburg Twp --"Peter Hoffman, 55 yo; pottery dealer; wife Elizabeth 52yo and dau Martha 35yo. Was Peter's father in the Rev War? a civil servant? supplied troups with provisions?? His dau, Minerva, mar Harry J. Hockenberry. Any help greatly appreciated Margaret mcfindley@centurytel.net
