I am searching for my husbands family/ancestors. we don't know a lot but I will list the names that we do know something about. If you know any of them we would love to hear from you. George Murphy met and married Lorraine E Slocum (her mother was Adeline Garcia, her sibs. are/were Norman, Marvel, Maryland and Arnold Slocum). They met in an Oakland California Hospital where George may have been a DR or a Phamacist and Lorraine was a nurses aide. There was a 15-20 yr age difference. They had three children, Frances, Lorraine and James Mortimer Murphy (DOB 04/1937). George left the family sometime after James was born not to be heard from again. James later married a Linda Dian (or Dean) Ross (family name was Rosenblum. Together they had a son, my husband on 01/12/1961. All of these people, including my husband were bonr in SF California and lived in the area their whole lives. linda left James and my husband was she was never heard from again. We do know that she passed away in 1983. Her mothers maiden name was Voldman and she has a brother, Roger B Rosenblum. If you know ANY of these names I would love to hear from you.
