Martin Dugan, born Nov 11, 1822, came from County Limerick,Ireland in 1847 departing from Liverpool and arriving in New Orleans on Jan 1, 1848. He went to (?) Ohio then to Indiana and was naturalized Oct 9, 1858 in Dearborn County Indiana. He died Jan 31, 1893 in Elizabethtown, Ohio. His wife was Ellen Carmody, daughter of a Catherine Karmody.
