I'm looking for Philip Manington(Mannington)descendants,Actg.Superintendent(Governor)of Penang,Malaysia from(June 1795-30th Nov.1795).Son of Philip Manington & Jane.In 1759 he applied to be a writer for the United East India Company at Fort Marlborough in the East Indies. He had studied arithmetic, French, Dutch, and book-keeping at school in Noordwijk,Holland.He married 1st to Ann and 2nd to Elizabeth Jackson Herbert.He died in 1806.
