I am looking for any infromation on william adams who married sarah? they had a child named john quincy who lived in polk co tennessee with his wife alpha mccullom adams and their children were alex, jessie, charlie, grover, and lizzie. they were in the polk co census in 1880 then later moved to hamilton county. john q died in 1924 and he and alpha are burried in the shelton cemetary in the sale creek ridges. we believe he was married sometime after 1910 to lillie ? possibly after alpha died. they are listed in the 1920 census as married with two children johnnie and ruby. if anyone has any more infro. on this adams family i would like to hear from you. william was my great great grandfather and i neverknew him or john q or alex who was my grandfather. please help me link my past. we believe that sarah or alpha may have been cherokee indian. thanks | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
