Mother died when around 3 or 4 years old, placed in orphanage, possibly in San Marcos TX, possibly Catholic. Orphanage renamed him Saint Matthew Mark Haley. Registered under this name for WWI draft from Limestone TX. Sister given in marriage to a Mr. Roach at 11 years of age, possibly at the same time Mark was sent to the orphanage.
