Crawfords of south Mississippi - early 1800's I am looking for the name of the parents of Robert H. Crawford, b. in Louisiana about 1812. He married Mary "Polly" Beasley of Copiah County. They lived there and raised their family. I am unable to learn about his parents, although it is believed he is the son of James and Susanna Spinks Crawford. It is also believed James either died around 1812 or was killed in the War of 1812. I can't find death or grave records on him. I can find her obituary.
