I'm looking for Kops family that came over from East Prussia, Germany (now Poland). The following brothers and sister came to Muskegon County, Michigan: Carl, Theodore, Ernest, Edward and Robert, also sister Amelia (Kops) Wenk. Two other sisters, Agunda and Marie stayed in Germany. All I know of Robert is that he appeared on the 1894 Michigan (special) Census. I know from the probate of his estate that Theodore died in January 1897. But, I do not know where he died or the cause of death. I'm also looking for my mother's uncle Lewis Kops that lived in Michigan's Upper Penninsula.
