I am researching the ALLEN family who resided in Cocke and Jefferson County, Tennessee. David ALLEN (b. 1817). David was married to (1) Mary (b. 1845) and they had the following children: Franklin H. (b. Jul 1867); Edward (b. 1869). David was married to (2) Polly (b. 1843) and they had the following children: Luella (b. 1873); Elizabeth (b.1875); Beecher (b. 1878). David married (3) Sarah J. (b. 1856) and they had the following children: Margaret (b. Aug 1888); Ben (b. Oct 1891); Evil (b. 1896); Blanche (b. 1896); Alex (b. 1898). Franklin ALLEN (b. Jul 1867) was married to (1) Julia DUNWOODY (b. Mar 1869, d. 15 Mar 1912) and they had the following children: Lloyd (b. 11 Nov 1890, d. 22 Feb. 1985), Edward (b. Feb 1892), Suella (b. May 1894, d. 1 Nov 1911), Reba (b. May 1896), Josephas (b. Oct 1898), Mary (b. 1902), Annie (b. 1905), Johnnie (b. 1908), Clarence (b. 1910). Franklin married (2) Ida (b. 1901) and they had the following children: Charles T. (b. 1928), James Franklin, Eugene Ray, Agnes. Lloyd ALLEN (b. 11 Nov 1890) married Evaline Branner (b. Jul 1891) and they had the following children: Donald (b. 1914), Mary (b. 1916), Hallace/Hollis (b. 1918), Cecil (b. 1922), Florence (b. 1925), Paul (b. 1926) Tommy, Vergie. Hallace/Hollis ALLEN worked for 30 plus years in the coal mines of Southwest Virginia.
