I'm looking for descendants of James William Salmond,Resident Councillor of Malacca from(1841-?).His father was William Salmond of Waterfoot.He was born in 16 August 1807.He educated in Charterhouse School,England.He joined the Bencoolen service in 1824, and it was broken up was transferred to the Penang Civil Lists,where he held various appointments until 1841. He married to Fenella Cullen Mackenzie in 3 October 1839.Formerly been Resident Councillor of Malacca.He died in Penang on 12th March 1848. His brother,Francis Charles Salmond died in 28 May 1827,Penang.His issue - a)Lt-Col.Francis Mackenzie Salmond born in 11 March 1841,married 22 July 1868,Isabel Clara Hart.He enter Royal Scots Fusiliers.He died in 1 Nov. 1900.His leaving issue:- i)Isabel Frank Fenella Salmond(1871-1938)married 1stly Offley Scoones and 2ndly to A.H.Waring.Their issue:- ai)Mabel Fenella Stella Scoones(1897-1976)married 1stly to Reginald Seton Hart and 2ndly to Frank T.S.Newell. ii)Major Francis William Salmond,R.F.A.served in South African War(1901-1902)and in World War 1(1914-1919).Born in 15 Oct. 1872,married to The Hon.Eleanor Kathleen Sugden of Aldington,Bagshot,Surrey,and died in 15 Sept.1930. iii)Capt.Hubert Mackenzie Salmond,Deputy Conservator of Karachi from 1920-1925.Born in 18 Dec.1874.He died in 25 Dec. 1947.He married to Emmie Juliet Hawkins of Southsea.He died in 25 Dec. 1947.His leaving issue:- ai)Ivy Anne Salmond,Watersplash Cottage,Blissford,Fordingbridge,Hampshire. iv) Henry Bertram Salmond(1878-1953)married to ?.His issue - ai)Lillian Josephine Salmond married to Richard Francis William Leonard.Their issue - bi) Susan Francis Leonard married to Maurice W.Sutcliffe. bii) Richard John N.Leonard married to Audrey A.Arnold. aii)Phyllis Julia Marie Salmond married to David Alexander Gillespie Pearson. b)Fenella Cullen Emilia Salmond(1843-?). c)Julia Mary Bolton Salmond(1845-1911)married to Rev.Theodore Carne Dupuis.Their issue - ai)Juliet Grace S.
