Looking for PHILLIPS researchers that can connect with Joshua or Oran Phillips that were in the 1830 Census, Town of Ellisburg, Jefferson Co.,NY. Searching for the parents names of my gr-grandfather, Alonzo Phillips, b.1809-1810, in Bennington Co.,VT. He was first known to be in Ellisburg abt.1831, when he mar. Lavinia Fillmore, dau. of Ethni Fillmore, who moved to Ellisburg in 1816, from Middletown, Rutland Co.,VT. (Lavinia Fillmore Phillips, was a 2nd.cousin to President Millard Fillmore). The 1830 Census lists in this order, Joshua Phillips; Ethni Fillmore and Oran Phillips. I believe my Alonzo Phillips is connected to Joshua or Oran that lived next to Lavinia's father Ethni Fillmore, but have been unsuccesful in my searches.
