There are many Jesse Adams from North Carolina. I need to find the one who had a son James A., born in Hendersonville, Henderson, N.C.in JUN of 1845 and eventually went to Greene County, Tennessee, possibly by 1850. I do not know Jesse's first wife (James's mother). There is a possibility that she was Aga and that may be an abbreviation for Agatha or Agnes. I believe that Jesse's wife had John, born in 1857 and Ezekiel, born in 1858. I believe that the first wife died between the birth of Ezekiel and May 1861. I find that Jesse married Mahala Ann Scott in Greene County, Tennessee, May 24, 1861. Jesse was mustered into the Confederate army from Greene County, TN in 1862, regiment 61, Company I. Can anyone help me find the wife of Jesse and have documentation of Jesse moving to Greene, TN? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
