Married Bethany Shaw in 1820, Union Corners, NY. Bethany born 1804 in Oswego Co., NY, d. 9/13/1883 Tuscarora, Livingston Co., NY. Oral family history says Harvalin was son of Daniel or Harvey Edwards, b. abt. 1767, purportedly a descendant of Richard Edwards of Connecticut, b. 5/1647, (father of Rev. Jonathan Edwards). Children of Daniel/Harvey: Daniel, Jr. Andrew, Mary, and Esther (Mrs. Benjamin Archer of Medina Co., OH).
